Nickel Titanium 'REBOUND' Hyperelastic Flexible Snake Guides

FEATURING "SHAPE MEMORY" PROPERTIES

Two finishes available: Gunsmoke Adaman or Silver Adaman

Description

  • The improved oversized circular coil shape can achieve a smoother cast.
  • Hyperelastic nickel-titanium material
  • Lighter than stainless steel snake guides
  • Excellent corrosion resistance
  • Pre-ground feet for easy wrapping
  • Suitable for both freshwater and saltwater fly rods
  • Super Adaman PVD coating

Hyperelastic, flexible fly rod snake guides are engineered from a superelastic nickel-titanium (Nitinol) alloy featuring "shape-memory" properties. Unlike traditional stainless steel alternatives these guides bend completely flat against the rod blank under extreme pressure or impact and instantaneously REBOUND back to their original alignment without deforming or breaking.

Core Performance Benefits
•    Incredible Weight Reduction: Nickel-titanium construction makes these guides up to 3 times lighter than conventional metal guides, improving overall rod sensitivity and recovery speed.
•    Absolute Corrosion Proofing: The Nitinol alloy is completely immune to rust in saltwater or extreme freshwater environments.
•    Blank-Flex Harmony: Because the entire frame flexes dynamically with the rod blank during a cast or under a heavy fish load, it eliminates rigid pressure points and preserves the true, uninterrupted action of the rod.
•    Durability & Shape Memory: They are virtually indestructible in the field; accidental impacts against boat gunwales, rocks, or heavy trampling will simply cause the guide to recoil instantly back to form.
